 Winlunds Labradors
are based in
Herefordshire, UK. We are small, professional
Labrador breeders, with a strict Code of Ethics, specialising in breeding Chocolate
Labrador puppies, bred exclusively for loving family homes. Our
Chocolate Labradors are placid and quiet in the home and our
faithful companions, at the same time being strong, athletic
and of sound temperament. We are confident that you will not be disappointed with one
of our Labrador Puppies.
Born and reared in
the family home our
Labrador puppies are closely monitored from birth right through to the
day they leave for their new homes at eight weeks of age. They are
Kennel Club Registered, have full pedigrees and our comprehensive Kennel
Club Accredited Breeder Wallet includes information on Training,
Socialisation, Exercise, Health Records and Dietary information and we
offer a
life-time of advice. We do not breed often, so waiting lists are held
until there is sufficient demand for a litter.
Health
Testing is a priority at
Winlunds and we make every effort
to breed puppies that will be free from any eye problems and
restriction in their joints by health testing all our
dogs when they reach adulthood. Each dog is DNA
Tested for Hereditary Diseases (such as PRA/PRCD,
Hyperthyroidism and Muscular Distrophy), BVA Eye Tested
Annually and BVA Hip and Elbow Scored. However, the overall responsibility lies with the new
owner to take great care and use common sense in the first
important year of their puppy's growth. We encourage
prospective buyers to research the breed and approach
purchasing a puppy with considerable thought. Puppies
will not be sold to anyone who has not researched the breed
thoroughly and we have strict guidelines that must be
implemented before we agree to a new owner purchasing our
puppies.

Because
we breed infrequently, (usually just one litter a year) we hold a Waiting
List.

We like to get to know a little bit about you and your family before we
agree to adding your name to the waiting list, so don't be alarmed if we ask you lots of
questions!
Once
we are happy that you can provide a loving family home and your
circumstances are right for one of our puppies, and you are happy with
us as Labrador breeders, then we keep in touch with you and keep you informed
about the pregnancy, birth and development of the litter. We
involve you in all aspects of your puppy's life - right from the
start!

to our darling Holly:
Beautiful, soft and gentle. The Matriarch of
our Lovely line of Labradors - our first ever Lab. We are forever
grateful to Holly for producing three stunning generations of quality,
type and sound temperament. Holly lives on in her wonderful
daughter, grand-daughter and great grand-daughter who all enjoy life in
the place Holly loved best - home!
